This week Head of Business Development, Dr Georgios Foufas spoke at the Sweden-Taiwan Joint Business Council (JBC) meeting. In conjunction with the meeting a high level visit was held at the EXEGER Stockholm headquarters to discuss future plans for expansion into the Asian market strengthening ties to the Asian market and future collaboration with the Taiwanese industry.
Exeger utsågs på torsdagskvällen till Årets nanoföretag 2015. Utmärkelsen ges ut årligen för att uppmärksamma svensk nanoteknologi. Det är tredje året priset delas ut.
EXEGER has, for the second year in a row, been chosen as one of the 33 hottest young tech companies in Sweden by “Ny Teknik” and “Affärsvärlden”. The criteria for nomination are the company has to have been founded in the past seven years and based on a technical innovation with international potential.
Mr. Giovanni Fili, CEO of EXEGER, has been chosen as one of Sweden’s most prominent entrepreneurs to participate in a panel to better Sweden’s infrastructure for the development of the entrepreneurial climate.
Torbjörn Assarsson valdes in som ny ledamot i styrelsen vid årsstämman. Torbjörn Assarsson har under många år haft chefsbefattningar inom Electrolux, Volvo och Powercell. Årsstämman beslutade även att bolaget ska byta namn till Exeger Sweden AB från NLAB Solar.
Swedish real estate company Wallenstam invests MSEK 10 in solar cell manufacturer Exeger (formerly known as NLAB Solar) and becomes a new shareholder of the company. The investment completes the project funding of MSEK 135 which Exeger has successfully raised to develop industrial production of their new solar cell technology.
Fastighetsbolaget Wallenstam investerar 10 Mkr i solcellsbolaget Exeger (tidigare NLAB Solar) och blir ny delägare. Exeger har därmed ny finansiering om totalt 135 Mkr för att utveckla industriell produktion av sin nya solcellsteknologi.
The solar cell company NLAB Solar AB intends to change its name to Exeger Sweden AB. The name change emphasizes the transition from a small technology company to a commercial company with industrial scale production. Exeger alludes to the term exergy which is the portion of energy which can be converted to mechanical work through a technical process.
On March 15, 2013, NLAB Solar had the opportunity to host representatives from the European Commission, LIFE+ Unit. Mr. Stefan Welin, Technical Desk Officer and Mr. Stefan Foersch, Financial Desk Officer from European Commission, and Mr. Pekka Hänninen, Monitoring Consultant from Astrale GEIE-ELLE, visited NLAB Solar's main office.
NLAB Solar's CEO, Giovanni Fili, participated in a roundtable discussion with U.S. Secretary of Energy, Steven Chu. There, Giovanni shared about NLAB Solar's cutting-edge clean energy solution. The roundatable discussion was organized by the Swedish American Green Alliance (SAGA), a clean energy partnership between the Government of Sweden and the U.S. Embassy in Sweden.
NLAB Solar has been granted a 60 MSEK loan by the Swedish Energy Agency (Energimyndigheten) to develop and demonstrate the industrial production of its new solar cell technology. The Swedish company has secured financing for the construction of one of the world's largest production facilities of Grätzel cells, the third generation of solar cells.
NLAB Solar is honoured to be invited as part of the delegation of Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia to South Korea. The visit included participating in the Korea-Sweden Innovation & Business Forum, as well as the Yeosu Expo 2012.
NLAB Solar attends Project Qatar 2012 in Doha, Qatar. This is the 9th International Construction, Building, Environmental Technology and Materials Exhibition that will see participation from over 1,750 firms from all over the world.
